MEETUP PLAN: We’re going to celebrate the Moscow Metro Day, the opening of the biggest circle line in the world, and celebrate Liza’s Birthday, one of our younger postcrosser.
The Moscow metro was opened on May 15, 1935. Now there are 258 stations, 14 lines, the length is 449 km. On March 1st, 2023, the largest metrocircle in the world was opened in Moscow. The length of the Big Circle Line is 70 kilometers of tracks with 31 stations.
The meeting will be held in Moscow on 14th May 2023. At the meeting, we will get acquainted and talk about the Moscow Metro, sign a themed circle postcard prepared specially for our meet-up by the artist Anna Votintseva. And congratulate our younger postcrosser, Liza, with Her Birthday! All of these we will accompany with delicious tea, coffee and a birthday card!
