The lowest of all the ID numbers that I sent from Nauru has finally arrived, NR-7
just registered IN-553344! i love double digit id’s - so satisfying
I have recently sent the card with a palindrome ID
RU-9880889 (it’s still travelling, so the link won’t show you anything)
The two that jumped out at me, due to all the 1’s, were
followed half a year later by:
Alas, if that last 9 was a 3, it would have been much more interesting. Both matching the 1st card and, well, how cool would 3111113 have been?

Hello again! As promised, I’ve done a more in-depth report of the trip over here-
And then if you’re especially interested, I recorded a 45 minute podcast which can be found here, or on Spotify or Apple Podcasts by searching “Postcards from Nauru”
I hope y’all enjoy!
So cool! I will check it out😃
My 10th card from Vanuatu just reached its destination today, after 129 days
For such a popular holiday destination for Australians, I’m so surprised that there have been so few official cards sent from Vanuatu!
It’s a fascinating destination and indeed quite close to Australia. So it makes sense you would think that. But… when I went there I didn’t meet many Australians; and the ones I did meet it was only inside the tourist resort.
I think Australians prefer mainly Bali, NZ and if they feel adventurous, Fiji.
Also when you are in Vanuatu it’s not exactly easy to send cards. It is expensive (3.90$ AUD per card) and post-offices are very rare.
And last but not least, Postcrossing is not very popular in Australia.
Not quite a palindrome, but I still like this number:
Received CX-1001
And sent US-9999666
My second postcard ever is ES-777750! And if it ever makes it, I also sent ES-777751. Guess not too many people are awake at 2am to request a postcard address, hehe
I was happy to send postcard RS-74000 and it didn’t take long to reach the destination in Finland.
I was happy to receive ES-778899 recently.
Love it. That’s a really good one.
I received a nice palindrome from Italy today: IT-727727 - I really like that
Today my card AU-921129 reached its destination.
The Ruskeala Express has reached its destination!
The latest unique postcard IDs I got were…
359997, 359998, 359999 and 360000
I got them on February 22.
