I’m starting a 2nd post for Group #1500 cards, because I’m scared to death I’m gonna bump something on the keyboard and accidentally delete them all before I’m finished. I’ve had that happen, and I was not a happy girl!
Group #1500
@MichelleW This is a VERY interesting card, our “National Bouquet.” I didn’t know every state had an official flower. Duh, where have I been? It was fun looking at the flower for each of the states I’ve lived in. Thank you for the compliment, and also for the fun postage stamp you used. I love it! That one is for sure going to be used in a collage.
@Ukucaitie What a gorgeous sunset at Grand Haven’s lighthouse, it’s so colorful! I can’t imagine all that being ice. That would be a scary walk, but I bet it’s beautiful, especially at night. Thank you for this card, and for the special postage stamp you used too.
@Angeldreamer I’m surprised by how small the Mount Rushmore presidents look from the view on this postcard. Once a year in June there’s a 10K volksmarch at Crazy Horse that I’d love to do sometime. You hike through woodlands and on gravel service roads, and the turn around point is at the arm of Crazy Horse, right in front of the 9 story high face. I think it would be interesting to see it up close like that. A different perspective.
@anon68172931 Thank you for this very colorful card. I had to stare at it for awhile before I realized what the yellow part on the cliffs was, lol. I really like the washi you used on the back. It’s very elegant. And thank you for the card compliment.
@Yarn-Lady I love love love this card! I can hear the music, and I feel like I’m right there with them. Thank you for the book suggestions. I’m always looking for the next good book to read. I ordered one these from the library today. Btw, you have beautiful handwriting.
@uconn What a beautiful waterfall! I’ve never been to Yellowstone, but yeah, I bet those falls looked quite different during and after the floods. Thanks for the interesting postage stamps you used, much appreciated!
@SharonMI Thank you for this very interesting postcard. And yeah, I’ve heard people say that too, about not knowing what they would do if they retired. That has NOT been a problem for me. Now I’m wondering how I ever had time to work, lol.
