Honestly at this rate I’ll never end up on the main NARR. Please do sign me up for February, since I seem to make this list!

I’m in the main lottery but would love to join here too. If it gets up to #9 that’s my preferred number.

I’ll be down for 2 weeks at the beginning of February with nothing to do so postcards will be my friends.

#2 reporting card arrive from #8 @salemhouse. The first book that I owned was from my grandmother - Alice in Wonderland. Therefore, very beloved. Many years later I read “Go Ask Alice” … very different book! Heartbreaking.

#3 reports receiving a card from #5 @TwasBrillig in the spirit of my trip to New Orleans, the card was an art card of a float design by Jennie Wilde for the Comus pageant.

Good, others have posted before me. Wasn’t sure if we were changing thread or not.

Received: #5 @TwasBrillig - Dear Nancy, thank you for the awesome Zulu basket. I’ve seen some of the work in person and am amazed at the ingenuiety. I had a hard time making a basket with cedar, I wonder what their hands are like at the end of a day.
You mentioned reading a tome. I’ve stopped reading any book that doesn’t catch my interest in the first chapter. There are so many that I don’t feel the need to torture myself. Yes, I’m aware I’m missing some great books this way, but life is short.

Mailing #2-4 today

Alt Feb - received from #4 @Yarn-Lady a grumpy cat with kaleidoscopic glasses (no wonder he’s grumpy!) - definitely made me smile! Thanks Cynthia.
