Hi everyone!

We’re a little surprised to hear about this stamp from a meeting announcement, since Postcrossing has not been contacted by the Estonian Post yet. :disappointed: We’re going to get in touch with them to clear out this situation. For a stamp with the Postcrossing name to be issued there need to be a contract in place, which still need to be agreed to… so we ask that you put the meetup plans on pause for now, until the situation is more clear. Hopefully we’ll hear from Estonian Post very soon, and we’ll let you know how it goes!

Oh wow. Couldn’t even think about this as we spotted it from Omniva’s stamp issuing program for 2022:

We well continue planning the meetup, but will postpone the launch of registrations until the situation is clear. Hopefully soon and hopefully in positive way.

We have been in contact with Omniva and things are well headed towards having this stamp on October 1st! While plans are still ongoing, now that we are collaborating I don’t anticipate any issues.

Anything we can try to help with towards the issue day through the coordination with Omniva? If so, please get in touch with us about it. We haven’t discussed anything about the launch day yet with them, but we can check if something can be done.

Great news!

We will update ourselves about the plans at our board meeting next week, and we will definitely proceed with the plans. Hopefully, we can have a launch event in Tallinn, similar to Mariehamn in 2019.
