In Japan, a special stamp will be issued on March 15th.
The focus is on the beauty and artistry of stamps, and this time the subject is French architecture.
The stamp was designed by French illustrator Florence Gendre.
Using multiple types of special printing, it has a gorgeous finish such as gold leaf processing and embossing, but the face value is 500 yen!
It costs 70 yen to send a postcard overseas from Japan, and 110 yen to send an envelope.
When should I use this expensive stamps?
And why didn’t you use Japanese architecture as a motif?
It’s a mystery to me… (Chambord and Chenonceau castles are amazing, of course!)

Maybe use it for packages? Small packets?
As to why he chose the castles, my guess is because they’re French, so they picked a familiar subject?

As a fan of Avatar, I am excited to learn that NZPost will issue a set of Avatar - The Way of Water stamps in March. 
They are gorgeous! Might consider buying a first day cover for myself.
