MEETUP PLAN: Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, talking, writing postcards, having fun. 
The Frankfurt am Main Postcrossing Breakfast Club is cellebrating the 6th anniversary with a larger international meet-up at our traditional anniversary location: Alex at Skyline Plaza rooftop terrace. The restaurant offers a large brunch buffet (until 14:30) for 17.90 € (excluding beverages, these need to be paid in addition). The buffet is the only choice, you cannot order a la carte, please keep that in mind before signing up! The meeting is limited to 12 participants! You can sign up either in this thread here or in the (German-language) Club thread.
Directions:
By car: The Skyline Plaza mall has a parking garage at the back side (Platz der Einheit / Osloer Straße).
By public transport: Underground lines U4 and U5 (and several S trains in the city center) do not operate during August!
From Frankfurt(Main)Hbf (Frankfurt central train station) go on ground level to the trams (outside the front of the train station) and take tram 10 (to Ginnheim), 16 (to Ginnheim) or 17 (to Rebstockbad) for the 3rd stop “Festhalle/Messe” (or take a 15-minute walk). When there, at the front of the tram train go to the left side and cross tracks and street. Go straight on between the fair entrance (to your right) and the closed entrance to the Underground (U4, to your left) through “Platz der Einheit” (there is also a big green sign towards Skyline Plaza), go along the fair hall (glassy hall), and at its end turn right. You will see the back side of the mall. Follow the signs to the parking garage, the night/Sunday entrance is next to it. Use the stairs or evelator to the rooftop, go to the Alex restaurant and ask a waiter for the Postcrossing reservation. For maps around Skyline Plaza see below after the last directions.
Alternative route from Frankfurt(Main)Hbf (Frankfurt central station): Leave the station a t the South Exit (near the end of platform/track 1), outside cross the tram tracks and the street, at the opposite side of the street turn right (same direction as the train tracks of the station go) to Karlsruher Straße (don’t cross Karlsruher Straße), there bus M46 towards Rebstock Römerhof departs (note that it arrives at the opposite side of the Fernbus-Terminal when you come back from Skyline Plaza, marked as M46 arrival on the map). Exit the second stop “Platz der Einheit”, you are roughly at the place I took the second photo with the night/Sunday entrance. For maps around Skyline Plaza see below after the last directions.

From Frankfurt(Main)Süd (Frankfurt South train station): No S trains operate from Frankfurt(Main)Süd towards the city center and Frankfurt(Main)Hbf during August! Either take a regional train to Frankfurt(Main)Hbf and follow the directionsfrom there, or exit the station through the main hall (next to pltform/track 1) and take tram 16 (to Ginnheim). It will go past Frankfurt(Main)Hbf (Hauptbahnhof), exit at stop “Festhalle/Messe” and follow the directions above from Frankfurt(Main)Hbf.

Activities: Our Breakfast Club meet-ups are social gatherings, so the main focus is talking to each other. Of course there will be cards written and stamped, but that’s not the main focus. Please keep that in mind and accept if someone does not want to sign/stamp any more cards. Thank you!
Meet-up cards: I will bring my meet-up card from previous years without meet-up date and may design another card with meet-up date. If you want to design your own card for this meet-up, you need to publish it here and allow all participants to order it from you.
