I use these occasionally but on envelopes, too big for both to fit on most postcards

Unfortunately they aren’t common in Italy, especially since most of the issued stamps are self-adhesive :disappointed_relieved:
Some examples from the past:
1989 - 150 years of the Napoli - Portici, first railway in Italy

1992 - 75° Giro d’Italia, cyclistic race

1992 - first voyage of Cristoforo Colombo, celebrations for 500 years from America’s discovery

1998 - International Philately Exhibition in Milano (Milano’s Duomo)

I love this stamps! Together they make a bookshelf.

I don’t know this one would fit because it’s sticker type but whole sheet makes a celestial planisphere.

Love the bookshelf one! Beautiful

I think there are quite a few Chinese stamp series that are continuous. Wonderful

This year the USPS released women’s rowing:

I really like the Capitol cherry blossom one from a few years back:

The summer fair stamps were fun as well, but I never could use all of them in a row since I would go way over the postage rate:

I just bought a few of these in case I draw a name who likes bicycles (although these might not qualify since they don’t really share a scene)
