MEETUP PLAN:
We meet at 10.30 on the forecourt of Wurzen station.
We walk for about 15-20 minutes to the city museum.
There I have ordered a guided tour of about 45 minutes on the subject of —Son of the City of Wurzen —JOACHIM RINGELNATZ—.
The exhibition rooms are on the first floor of the house.
They can only be reached via an old staircase with irregularly spaced steps. Therefore unsuitable for wheelchair users.
However, it is possible to visit the normal museum on the ground floor.
Cost of admission and guided tour 6.00 euros.
Postcards are available in the museum and just across the market in the tourist information office of Wurzen.
I will order a so-called “call bus” to the market which will take us to Müglenz for about 5.00 euros (return journey).
From 12.15 we can have a short look around the premises of the pond farm Müglenz, then enjoy the fish dinner and stamp our postcards and chat with each other.
Intended menu :
Fish soup, carp in batter with potato salad, smoked fish platter with sturgeon, trout, carp, eel and catfish, accompanied by various types of bread.
I will provide a dessert or / and cake myself.
2-3 drinks per person are included in the price of approx 27 euros.
For 4.50 pm I will order “Rufbus” for the return journey to Wurzen to the railway station .
The Meetup is to end at 17.00 hrs.
Please let me know who will be travelling with a rollator or wheelchair - this is important for the bus.
As I have not yet created any Meetup postcards, I would be very pleased if someone could be found to do this. Please contact me. I am happy to supply photos. I may take shots on the grounds and with the people.
The capacity for the Meetup is limited to 18 people.
