But privacy is better with snail mail and that is also a reason why many people still use it.

There’s no ceiling for a given country in the address distribution algorithm. So the proportion of one certain country could be very high.

Germany by far takes the lead of most active Postcrosser. Send a card recieve a card. Well its not so much country but rather who is next in line to receive a card and yes its going to be someone with a Germany address. And the same for sending. There’s thousands of Germans on Postcrossing sending a day and your address happens to be the one given when it’s your turn to receive.

Maybe in a few years time, it will be Russia. They are number 1 in members, but number 2 in postcards sent.
Maybe China. Maybe you get the picture.

They have not risen the postage for cards abroad, so poor you, you have to bear us another three years! :wink:
