MEETUP PLAN:
Mainau is an island in Lake Constance (on the Southern shore of the Überlinger See near the city of Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Schwitzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein is not far. During my vacation at Lake Constance, Germany I want to host my first meetup. Insel Mainau: Blumeninsel im Bodensee There are 3 possible starting locations:
A) Our bus 4/13 leaves the Stephansschule Konstanz bus stop at 9:00 a.m. It is 15 minutes away from Konstanz train station. I am not there.
B) The same bus 4/13 leaves the Allmannsdorf Konstanz bus stop at 9:10 a.m. My husband and I get in there.
C) We meet at the Mainau bus stop at 9:16 a.m. There is a car parking space there for 6 euros per car. On the mainland parking lot on the island of Mainau, a camera records the license plates of vehicles entering and leaving. The parking fee is paid at 7 machines on site. Fees can be paid in cash or cashless by entering the license plate number. Motorcycles are free of charge. If there are at least 10 of us, we will visit the island of Mainau together. I will share my mobilenumber (NO Whatsapp) with all participants. Those interested like me will take part in a 60-minute guided open park tour at 11:30 a.m. The meeting point for the tour is the forecourt of the Butterfly House. I book and pay for the guided tour and group entry by September 3rd, 2024 at the latest. So that I can plan the payment, I ask that 28 euros (without guide 22 euros) be transferred to my account by Wednesday August 25th, 2024. In the evening I reserved a table in the Defne restaurant in Konstanz for 5:30 p.m. https://www.defne-kn.de/ It’s a Turkish restaurant. There we can stamp our postcards, eat something and chat. I limit the number of postcards per participant to signed to 20. If anyone would like to design a postcard for the meetup and organize the order, please contact me early. The number of participants is limited to 11 people. My husband and I are not counted yet. Have I forgotten something important? It’s my first meetup.

Children up to and including 12 years of age are free when entering the island.

If I get the tickets for all of us, a group ticket online for 10 or more people only costs 22 euros, instead of a single adult ticket it costs 26,50 euros. If 8-11 people have not transferred the entry fee to me by August 25, 2024. I’ll send the money back to you and everyone will take care of their own tickets and pay 4,50 euros more.
You pay for parking, bus travel, food and drink yourself on site.
