To celebrate my 10 years in Postcrossing (signed in on 4th July 2011), I would like to invite to a meetup in Oslo.
The date is changed to Saturday 3rd July, as more shops/tourist shops (hopefully) will be open and we could roam around looking at and probably buy postcards.
As soon as cafes/restaurants open, I will book a table at Cafe Skansen (https://cafeskansen.no/), Rådhusgata 32 (close to Akershus festning). Not sure if we can book a table outside (in case of nice weather), but as it might be a lot of people wanting to got out this summer when everyting opens again, I think it’s best to book a table (will probably book a table sometime between 1 or 2 pm).
After eating, we could take a walk around Akershus festning (where they have poles for those who do Stolpejakten).
When it comes to meetup card I will either change the one I have posted, or make one additional with motives from Akershus festning (I will go and take some photos myself).

Regner med at det meste av stedene som selger postkort er stengt på en søndag, så det er mulig at vi kan ta dette på lørdag 3. juli om det skulle passe bedre.
Om vi skal ta dette ute (f.eks. Akershus festning) avhenger av været, men det er kafeer/restauranter i området (avhengig av ev. restriksjoner da), så det er en mulighet for ev. å spise om det er ønskelig. Og gå innom Akershus festning for å kikke rundt/skrive postkort.
Håper at smitten går nedover (og ikke hopper opp igjen etter påske), og at flere av oss har fått minst en dose av vaksinen (kanskje begge, avhengig av aldersgruppe) innen den tid.
Cafe Skansen will open on 27 May. I have sent an e-mail to the restaurant to book a table at 13.30 / 1.30 pm on Saturday 3 July.
We should then have time to go hunting postcards.
Depending on the weather (I have ordered nice and sunny weather), we could also walk around Akershus Festning (for those of you doing Stolpejakten, there are some poles there).
Update: I have gotten a confirmation for the booking for 8 persons. We have a table for 2 hours, 13.30.-.15.30 (if we are not done signing postcards, we can sit down in the area in Akershus festning and continue in case we do not get to keep the table longer).
