I know that will have a special WPD from Rio de Janeiro for the occasion because the roganizer is a designer, but I don’t know the postcard yet, it was not showed.
Maybe I will make a special one due to my visit there together with WPD, didn’t decide yet, so it can have two different postcards.

I was hoping to attend, but alas, I won’t be able to after all. I’m so disappointed. I hope everyone has fun!

Hello!
I’m very much looking forward to hosting the second Niagara Falls World Postcard Day Postcrossing Meet-Up!
Niagara Falls is known as one of the world’s biggest tourist attractions. It’s truly a natural wonder. I’m happy you’re thinking of joining us and hope you enjoy your stay in “The Falls”.
There is so much to see and do there it can be a little intimidating. Please don’t hesitate to ask for tips or advice. There are hundreds of restaurants, two big casinos, waterparks, zoos and world class wineries nearby, plus there are special pictorial cancellations in both Niagara Falls downtown post office & Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can also cross the border to New York State, with your passport & vaccination information on hand.
You can find all sorts of touristic postcards along Clifton Hill, Fallsview, Victoria & Stanley Avenues. Some as cheap as 5 for $1 and some for $1 or more each…
We will have our MEET-UP celebrating World Postcard Day!
If you’ve never been to a meet-up before, let me tell you, it can be a bit overwhelming too! It’s one of the most anti-social social events I’ve ever been to. Be prepared to sign in the neighbourhood of 1000 cards!
The room at Lions Club Hall comes with a fee. I’ll be collecting to cover the cost of rental.

$10 for the hall only
$15 for the hall & 15 postcards (5 each of my 3 designs) *
$20 for the hall, 20 postcards (5 each of my 3 designs & 5 official WPD card) & a raffle ticket*
additional postcards available as quantity dictates

The only local post offices open after the meet-up will be outlet locations, including Shoppers Drug Mart at 6565 Lundy’s Lane. They should be able to postmark October 1 until 5pm.

Look forward to seeing you & celebrating WPD together!

Please let me know if these are available.

Alex!
Great to hear you’re joining us.
Lions club hall is here…

I’m taking pre-orders for cards now. Take a look at the images & let me know if you want any.

All you need to bring is a pen (or 4) and an open mind!

Hope you are still thinking to attend!

@shelopolis Thanks for hosting this event and I will be more than happy to participate. I have recently moved from east coast to Toronto, so it’s gonna be my first meet-up. Super excited.

quick question: any idea where’s the PO with the pictorial cancel and can we get one on Oct 1?

ZL

The pictorial is at the downtown PO
4500 Queen Street
It is NOT open Saturday…
The closest PO open is in a shoppers on Lundy’s Lane :love_letter:

Have you been to Niagara Falls before?
Do you need any directions/info?
Let me know about cards too… Did you see the pics?
S

Unfortunately we still can not send mail from Canada to Russia…

I can write you the address of my postcrosser friend in Belarus. And the mail gets from Russia to Canada perfectly.

Hi S (I am assuming you are replying my comment): Yes, I have been to Niagara few times before and I shouldn’t have any problems navigating in the city. Thanks for asking

I haven’t decided how many cards I need to prepare so I will have to keep you posted on this, hopefully in the next week or two.
